Actually, it was a film (Disney Studios) from 1976. It hit the Big Screen and starred David Niven, Darren McGavin (tv's Nightstalker series), Don Knotts (Andy Griffith Show) and Kim Richards. The remake was just a few year's ago.

I just checked out "No Deposit, No Return" on IMDb and it seems that it was a 70s sitcom -- way before my time. Or maybe it wasn't aired in the UK as a rerun. I've never heard of it. I grew up with "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" !
